Can you make one of these?
The instructions are missing!
Write the instructions then 20 facts in order ready to make- check that they are challenging for your level.Play Triangle Flash!: A Math Game
What You Need:
- Triangle cards
- scissors
- Marker Pens
What You Do:
- Create the Triangle Flash cards: Cut an index card into a triangle. In each of the corners of the flash card write numbers belonging to a multiplication/division fact. For example if you write 63 at the top of the triangle, you would write 7 in one corner and 9 in another. Continue creating all the multiplication/division facts through nines.
- Play the game: Hold the card up for your partner to see and place your thumb over one of the corners, covering a number. Your partner should identify the number that is covered by recognizing the other uncovered numbers as part of the multiplication/division fact. Continue playing the game with the cards, varying which section you cover each time.
- Keep a record: While playing, keep a list of facts that your partner misses, or has a harder time remembering. Go back and practice those facts, covering different numbers as a way to practice both multiplication and division.

"Instead of said, these words really bring our writing to life! " explained Mrs Campbell.
We have been trying to use great descriptive words instead of said. It really helps inform our audience of what's happening and what characters are feeling.
Can you put each of these words into a sentence? Are there any words here that you don't know?

Wow.... the story came to life
Today we really enjoyed reading a book in a really different way. We read The Fantastic Flying books of Mr Morris Lessmore. It's a great story and the augmented reality really bought the messages to life for us.
The story is about Morris Lessmore. He loves words. He loves stories. He loves books. He’s even got a red book of his own where he’s writing down his own story.
One day, a great windstorm comes flying in and scatters everything in Morris’ life. Not knowing what to do or which way to go, Morris begins to wander. Along the way, he sees a lovely lady being pulled through the sky by a squadron of flying books. Seeing Morris is in need of a good story, she passes him one of her favorites.
Morris follows the book to a magnificent building where many books apparently “nest.” Inside is a marvelous sight of fluttering books uttering a thousand different stories. Upon this discovery, Morris does the only thing he can do, beginning a life among the books.
The story goes on to describe how Morris becomes a part of the family — making repairs, getting lost in an adventure, sharing books with others, and once again writing his own book. Years pass, and then comes the day when Morris fills the last page in his own book and decides it’s time to move on. He is transformed back into his younger self and flies away with his own squadron of books.
